Non, je sais ce que vous voulez dire, c’est du chevreau doré que nous avions trouvé à Londres, en faisant des courses avec Consuelo de Manchester. C’était extraordinaire. Je n’ai jamais pu comprendre comme c’était doré, on dirait une peau d’or, il n’y a que cela avec un petit diamant au milieu. La pauvre duchesse de Manchester est morte, mais si cela vous fait plaisir j’écrirai à Mme de Warwick ou à Mme Malborough pour tâcher d’en retrouver de pareils. While researching my ancestor, Consuelo Yznaga, I came across your website which shows the incorrect spelling for her surname. She was never known as María Consuelo Iznaga y Clement. Her legal name is Francisca Maria de la Consolacion (Consuelo) Yznaga. The portrait you are showing was painted by John Singer Sargent, http://www.jssgallery.org/Paintings/Consuelo_Yznaga.htm and he names the sitter Consuelo Yznaga, Duchess of Manchester.
Here are some additional links which show her name as Yznaga, NOT Iznaga y Clement, nor as Maria Consuelo.
